From the first emotional impulse to the finished painting — an insight into my creative process.
Every painting begins with a feeling — an inner impulse, a mood, an emotional movement. At the beginning, I do not know exactly what the final work will look like. There is only a direction, a presence, an atmosphere.
The image reveals itself while I paint. Layer by layer, it develops through intuition, attention, and openness. I do not follow fixed rules or rigid concepts — the process itself becomes part of the work.
I am my own strongest critic. Nothing remains on the canvas without being questioned. What matters to me is honesty, depth, and the feeling that a painting carries something real.
I was once asked: Would you still paint if no one ever saw your work? My answer was simple — yes.
